Your declaration is a serious step that could have harmful consequences for the people concerned. As such, it is important to carefully consider the veracity of the facts observed and the remarks reported to avoid them being qualified as defamatory.
Any person who, knowingly or in a manifestly negligent manner or with the aim of harming others, makes false statements with full knowledge of the facts, discloses misleading information or does so in bad faith or in an abusive manner, may be subject to disciplinary measures or legal proceedings (slander, defamation, theft and concealment of documents, etc.).
To benefit from ‘whistleblower’ protection within the meaning of the law, it is important that you act in good faith and without direct financial consideration, and that your report concerns unlawful acts (food safety violations, suspected corruption or influence peddling, behaviour contrary to the Group's ethical principles, etc.).
As soon as the conditions are met, your report will be collected and processed under conditions that guarantee the confidentiality and legitimate rights.
The confidentiality of the person making the report and of the persons involved will be preserved.
As part of the processing of alerts, we will collect and process personal data concerning the whistleblower (unless anonymity is chosen), the persons targeted and the other persons involved (e.g. the facilitator).
